DW-TV is the official German TV broadcast of Deutsche Welle. The program orients itself towards news, Cars, sports, Documentaries, features, Lifestyle, entertainment and information and started on 1 April 1992.

The program is broadcasted via satellite and produced in Berlin. DW provides an overview of events and developments that occur in Germany and around the world, providing the German view, and other views.

This drives the exchange of information and understanding between cultures and peoples. At the same time provides a gateway to the German language.
