WANE-TV is a full service television station in Fort Wayne, Indiana, broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 31 and on virtual channel 15. Founded in 1954 as WINT-TV, it is owned by LIN TV Corporation. WANE is affiliated with CBS, airing CBS's primetime shows in the evening. In the morning, the station airs CBS's morning news and information program, with spots for local news and weather; in the afternoon, it airs CBS's soap operas; in the early evening, it shows CBS's national news broadcast and local newscasts. After primetime, it airs its own local newscasts, followed by CBS's late-night programming. WANE also airs local sports broadcasts. WANE's channel is multiplexed, with three subchannels. Channel 15.1 airs WANE and CBS programs in high definition; 15.2 shows Antenna TV, with classic television series and feature films, and 15.3 shows weather. The station used the call sign WINT-TV from 1954 until 1956.
