Global BC Live

Global BC is a television station in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, broadcasting on local channel 22 and virtual channel 8.1. Founded in 1960, it is owned by Shaw Media and branded Global BC.

The station carries programming from the Global Television Network, a Canadian conventional commercial television network. The station airs programs from United States networks, including Fox, CBS, Food Network as well as Canadian networks such as HGTV Canada and Showcase.

Global BC also airs local morning, afternoon and evening newscasts as well as national evening news and political commentary from Global National. CHAN was an independent station from 1960 until 1961, and it was affiliated with CTV from 1961 until 2001.
